Our hero is Dood, a little guy in a big world. He is an everyman who can take on any role that is necessary to the situation and automatically adapts himself to any hat he is offered. He can be a baby dropped on an unsuspecting doorstep in one episode, and a prospective father trying to fend off a bundle-bearing stork in another.

Generally positive, and trusting to the point of gullibility, Dood is often picked on or take advantage of, but he is resilient, and able to bounce back from all mistreatment that may come his way. He is an impetuous risk-taker, and doesn’t think very many steps ahead. His actions will sometimes set in motion a chain of events that will lead directly to his own doom, because he can only ever see the immediate results, and never perceives the far-reaching effects.

Dood doesn't have a whole lot of patience, and will probably not be able to stand a long wait for any gratification. He has a temper, and can be easily irritated or pissed off. Once someone is in his bad books, he will often hold a grudge, and look to one-up them or even get revenge for the slight. But his memory isn't long, and his outlook is generally cheery, so it doesn't take much for him to get over sore feelings if his competitor extends even the slimmest olive branch.

He is very creative and resourceful. There are not many obstacles that he won't be able to eventually surmount. He might get frustrated trying to solve a problem, but nothing can keep him from trying, even after numerous painful failures. He is very persistent and not one for giving up, unless of course he were to be distracted by some other, more attractive goal.
